The body of a missing boy, whose photo was shared on social media with an appeal for his recovery, has been found dead near his home in Laspor area of Upper Chitral.
The boy, Shiraz Ahmed, son of Sher Muhammad, a resident of Laspor, had gone missing on February 25. He left his home at 10:00 AM that day to go to Mastuj but never reached his destination. Concern grew when there was no news of his arrival, prompting his family to share his photo on social media with a missing person alert. Despite extensive efforts, no trace of the boy was found until his lifeless body was discovered in a field near his home earlier today. The cause of death remains unknown. Shiraz Ahmed was the only son of his father and an eighth-grade student.
